Chess Odds for Android · Effective 3 October 2026

Chess Odds is a chess game for Android.

Data collection

Chess Odds stores game settings, completed game history, and the current in-progress game on your device so the app can restore your game after it is closed.

Chess Odds uses Google AdMob to show ads and Google's User Messaging Platform to manage consent and privacy choices where required. Google may process device, ad interaction, consent, and approximate location information according to Google's own policies.

Chess Odds does not sell personal data and does not include account sign-in, in-app purchases, contacts, camera, or microphone access.

Local data

Game data and settings are stored on your device. If Android backup or device transfer is enabled, Android may include app data in your device backup or transfer according to your Google/Android settings.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your games, stats, and settings stay on your device until you delete them; the developer never receives them. To delete your game history and stats, use Reset stats on the app's Stats screen. To delete everything the app stores, clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall the app.

Data that Google processes for ads is kept and deleted under Google's own policies, described in Google's Privacy Policy. Google's ad SDK sends that data over encrypted connections.

Third-party services

Chess Odds uses these Google services:

Chess Odds also includes third-party open-source components and assets, including Stockfish, chesslib, chess piece artwork, and sound effects. Licence details are available in the app's About screen.

Your choices

Where consent is required, you can review or change your advertising consent at any time from the app's About screen, under Ad privacy choices.
